A vibrant, student friendly cafe that thrives on its great menu and talented bakers, cooks and baristas. I got a soy milk cappuccino and it was honestly one of the best coffees I have, their coffee beans are seriously good. Rich and flavourful with a slight natural sweetness without being too bitter. The smoothies on the menu all look so good and if I wasn’t a broke uni student I would have drank all of them by now! Speaking of broke uni students… they have a really good student discount making it the most affordable cafe in the area. I often walk past there when it’s busy and see how happy everyone looks enjoying a nice lunch and coffee. They also have a unique range of dairy free milks including… Macademia milk!!! It isn’t a vegan cafe but they have SO many vegan options, it’s wonderfully inclusive. ~ Lillian G
Hands down THE BEST almond croissant is here, Mate! you'll get the perfect not too flaky, not too oily, not too crumbly, not too crispy, not too bready croissants here. and the almond paste filling is perrfect. not too sweet, just the right almond texture, not too pasty and you could still get the almond nibs bite into it. the almond croissant is one of the best i have ever tasted thus far. perfect with a long black! ~ Umi M
Bill makes a great coffee, the almond croissants are amazing and the bread is always fresh and delicious. I ate here most days while working in Phillip, and now buy their pastries and bread (their light rye sourdough is particularly good) every week from the Braddon Haig park markets. Can't recommend highly enough! ~ Lachlan M
The best bread in town, especially the sour dough and the high quality fruit loaf. Egyptians obviously have a very long history of making bread and I like the eye of Horus on the bakery sign. It apparently symbolizes health and well being and many other good things. I would recommend this bread to anyone. ~ Rob S
My go-to cafe whenever I have a chance to visit Canberra. Outstanding customer service, Will and Hazel made me really good foods and coffee. I would recommend the egg&bacons wrap + ice long black combo, gonna fill you for the whole morning. They were being really nice and would explain anything you don’t know. Many likes from Sydney. ~ Walley L

Tried the chicken sandwich and coffee deal before class, such a great way to kick off the day. The sandwich was super fresh, and the barista made my coffee just ✨. Friendly vibes too! Definitely a goto spot for a quick morning pick me up or to unwind after a long class ~ Serevinna D
Best almond croissants and sourdough breads in Canberra and great coffee. Loads of sweet and savoury treats on offer. Try their mini cheesecakes if you get a chance, they are the best cheesecake you’ll ever eat. So good. ~ Helen G
Sells the best sausage rolls I've had in my life at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend to anyone. Yet to try their other foods but if the sausage rolls are anything to go by they're going to be phenomenal as well. ~ Shaun R
